I’m going back to square one
Back when I knew I could make fun with it
Made in the image of the sun… now I’ve been a lazy gun…
Not shooting the tricks like I wanted it or repositioning stars with my finger tips
Try and fall off a hill you never wanted to climb just to see it’s only you by your side
Now why would I try and ride a washed up tide when I could sink and see what I find?
So why you looking so bitter and out of place?
You can place the blame if you can look yourself in the face
Make sure you leave your image with no trace
I wouldn’t want you to ruin your public grace
Take some time to follow the moon… forget what you do… and then remember your mood
Your peace of mind will come all in good time… let go of one thought at a time… don’t let them get out of line
That shiny form slope, you’ll be tempted to climb… as if a treasure to find… you’ll dig your feet in the slime
Oh well, we gave it a run… played dumb, but I don’t like what I have become
